Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information Book Court may handle when you browse venues or contribute information. Do not submit sensitive personal information through venue feedback fields.

Last updated: 22 July 2026

Information handled

  • Basic technical and usage information such as requested pages, searches and browser or device information processed by hosting and analytics services.
  • Language, location preference and consent choices stored in your browser.
  • Content you choose to submit, such as reviews, photos and venue corrections, together with the information required to process that submission.

Location

If you allow browser location access, the site uses coordinates to order nearby venues and may store the selected location in your browser. Browser permission controls remain available to you. You can deny or revoke access and search by district instead.

How information is used

Information is used to provide search and venue pages, remember preferences, understand reliability and usage, moderate submissions, prevent abuse and improve venue records.

Service providers and external links

Hosting, analytics or advertising providers may process technical information under their own terms when their services are enabled. Venue profiles may link to government, venue, map, WhatsApp or booking services; their privacy practices apply after you leave Book Court.

Retention and choices

Browser-stored preferences can be cleared through your browser. Operational records and submissions are kept only as needed for the purposes above, security, dispute handling and legal obligations. A public privacy-request email is not yet configured; venue-specific correction requests can be made from the relevant profile.

Children and changes

The service is a general venue guide and is not designed to collect children’s personal information. This policy may change as the service and its providers change; the current version date appears above.
