How venue information is presented

Book Court aims to make supported facts easy to compare while being candid about missing or changing information.

Evidence before detail

Profiles use structured fields already held for that venue. The site does not fill gaps with assumptions. A missing price, facility or booking method is left absent or marked as unavailable rather than inferred.

Source visibility

Where the dataset contains a source label, official-source link or last-checked date, the profile displays it. Government or venue-operated pages are preferred for operational facts. Community reports can identify corrections but should not be treated as official confirmation by themselves.

Reviews, promotions and advertising

User reviews, verified records and sponsored placements should be labelled by their actual status. Advertising must remain visually distinct from venue navigation and editorial content. Payment must not determine whether an ordinary factual correction is accepted.

Corrections

Users can report a correction from the relevant venue profile. Reports should identify the disputed field and, when possible, a reliable source. Records needing review may be withheld from search-engine indexing until they meet the site’s minimum publication criteria.
