Data sources
Where venue information comes from
Each venue can have a different level of source coverage. Book Court exposes source and update fields when they exist instead of making a blanket freshness claim.
Last updated: 22 July 2026
Sources represented in the dataset
- Official Leisure and Cultural Services Department information for records identified as LCSD-managed.
- A venue’s own website or external booking page when that link is stored on the profile.
- Structured venue records maintained in Book Court’s dataset, including corrections and update timestamps where available.
- User-submitted reviews, photos or correction reports, shown separately from official operational details.
How to read a profile
A source label describes the origin recorded for that profile; a last-checked date describes when the record was checked, not a guarantee that nothing changed afterward. The presence of a link does not mean Book Court controls or endorses the third-party service.
Time-sensitive information
Court availability, fees, opening hours, maintenance closures and booking rules can change quickly. Confirm them on the linked official or venue service before travelling or paying.
Missing data
Not every venue has every field. Profiles with insufficient identity, location, sport and supporting-detail signals are excluded from the sitemap and marked not for indexing until their data improves.
